Our Walk Across Canada in a Day (May 6, 2012) kicks off a whole month of fundraising for Jesse’s Journey! Registration is from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m
It’s easy – just choose a day in May to have some fun with your co-workers while raising money for research to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
In the past decade, local businesses have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in very creative ways. Delaware Speedway encouraged spectators to walk the track on opening night for pledges, London Honda held a fundraising barbecue, workers at Ford Talbotville held a gate collection and many others held company bake sales, dress-down days and more!

Many schools take part in funding research events for Jesse’s Journey too! Students are asked to bring in a toonie - and walk a kilometre on school property! New this year – Jesse’s Journey wristbands will be available for a $2 donation to research! For more information, please click here or contact Jesse’s Journey at 519-645-8855.
In 2011, fundraising events during the month of May, including the Walk Across Canada in a Day, raised nearly $200,000 for research!
