A big Thank You from Jesse's Journey
What a weekend! The Fleetwood Country Cruize-In , June 8-10, was a huge success and Jesse's Journey would like to acknowledge Steve Plunkett and Excell Auctions, for their terrific work.
The 2007 weekend line up included George Barris and seven outstanding customs, the 2.5 million mile Volvo, the Roger Moore “Saint Car”, antique boats, steam engines, an extreme air show, trade show, 2,000 show cars, dinner for 2,300 people under the “Bigger” Top tent plus Herman's Hermits, Frankie Avalon, Fabian, and Bobby Rydell.
On Sunday, a classic car auction capped off the weekend. Excell Auctions featured over 125 spectacular vehicles, in one of the most impressive auctions anywhere. There were vehicles ranging all the way up to one of the rarest - a 1916 Packard bus! They also held a very successful Silent and Live, Charity Auction.
The weather definitely cooperated, and together, the car show, air show, dinner shows, draws, auctions and spectators helped to raised more than $70,000 for Jesse's Journey. There were nineteen other charities who also benefited from events held throughout the weekend.
Thanks to Steve Plunkett, Excell Auctions and all our sponsors for an absolutely terrific weekend.
