Nikki Gabrielli - COMPLETES THE BOSTON MARATHON

I first learned of Jesse's Journey through my parents when I was in grade 6. We watched John and Jesse come through London on their way across Ontario in 1995, and in 1996 we attended a Valentines Day fundraiser where I was able to meet both John and Jesse.
What an incredible story about a boy and his father determined to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy! Jesse's Journey has inspired me ever since grade 6, and now, on my journey, I wanted to do my part to help find a cure.
On Monday, April 19th I ran the Boston Marathon in support of Jesse's Journey. I ran the marathon in a time of 3 hours and 34 minutes….my best time so far, in any marathon.
I ran because I could...I wanted to make a difference.

Thank you to all who donated to my marathon and to Jesse's Journey. With your help I was able to not only reach my goal ($5,000), but surpass it by raising a total of $6,080 for research!!
