Devon and Oliver
“When Devon was diagnosed with DMD I was shocked and devastated, Never in my worst nightmare had i imagined that his difficulty with stairs and reluctance to go down the slide were the symptoms of a serious life limiting illness.
Suddenly the future we had planned for our bright, funny little man was shattered and all that was left was advice to enjoy our time together now and live each day to its fullest. In the 2 and a half years that have passed since that day the prognosis for DMD has improved significantly thanks to emerging therapies and exciting scientific breakthroughs in DMD research.”
